September 11, Sad Day, Bingo Mourning

As today is the memorial day for the horrible terror attack at NY, September 11th., memorial day will also be remembered at bingo halls all around the globe.

We took the time to contact some main bingo operators and ask how they going to address the Memorial Day.

Here are some of the ideas and plans for today:

Mark F. , a UK based bingo brand manager, advises that his brand will accept players paying using a bonus coupon , players will have the ability to donate some of their purchases through the bingo hall, the organizations involved with September 11 and charity organizations related.

“There will be a special offer for today, September 11., to make a donation through our bingo hall, as players who make the first deposit that day will be contacted by our chat teams and will be notified for this occasion.

Players who are already in our active data bases, will also receive an email notification , which allows them to donate money through a special link, via our site . We have made several technological and logistical efforts in order to be apart of this sad day. Our job is usually based on a strong community game and players that are with us for a, long time now, do appreciate the fact we do want to donate. Our brand shall also, collect the total moneys and will double the donation. Each player will have the opportunity to make his or her mind, as for where their donation goes to.”

Gil Davis, the manager of one of the European largest bingo operators, tells us they will also remember September 11th., as they already emailed their full data center and offered a simple 3 question survey, which request the players on how would they want to do for the remembrance of September 11th.

“ We sent a short email titled September 11th., Memorial day at our Bingo hall. We basically asked 3 questions: Where are you from, and how is it common to remember this day.

Second question was how would you wish to remember this day with our cooperation.

The third one is you interested of a donation or any other mean to remember September 11th.

We think we did a pretty good job by now at more than 53% of our data center already gave his reply, we intend to study the different options and precise one of them.”
